Escape the city for a day, go to a farm. Campensino has lots of different sides, it has normal crops and pig pens but the farm also has a hummingbird garden and medicinal plants.
The pride and glory of the farm is the Don Carmelino Sugar Mill. Here you can see how generations have harvested and stored sugar. Sugar is one of Costa Rica's most important export products.
The tortilla restaurant is the perfect place to taste some Costa Rican culture after your tour around the premises.
