Organic Chocolate Tour

Organic Chocolate Cultivation & Tasting Tour
The cacao tree is one of the most important native species in Latin America. The chocolate tour is both educational and fun. You will get to know all important properties of the product, next to the one that everybody knows. Cacao also has medicinal, nutritional and cultural values. These values are just as vital as the main byproduct: chocolate.
Your guide will tell you how the cacao is harvested and a lot of interesting details about the history of cacao. The chocolate making process is the next thing you will experience. The fermentation process and the seed drying will be shown. Visitors will be able to help roast and grind the fruit.
When the process is completed you will be able to taste your creation, cajuli or liquid chocolate. You can add different spices to subtly change the flavor and personalize your drink. You will learn how to make chocolate bars after your drink, by using the professional equipment from the farm.
Children from the age of 7 are accepted in the tour.
