Cultour takes you to a small country side town outside of the tourism of Arenal, you will be driven to Zona Fluca. The history behind this town and the surroundings will be told to you by your guide. El Tanque and El Bosque are two other towns that will be passed along the way.
The farmlands surrounding these towns will bring you back to a simpler time away from the crowded and busy 21st century. You will be told how crops like plantains, cassava and beans are harvested.
Your lunch is provided and will consist of a traditional Costa Rican with handmade tortillas.
After you have enjoyed farm life, you will have a quick peek into a local school and see that some of the traditions are not only in the past but are past on into future generations.
