Kayaking Lake Arenal












Lake Arenal Kayaking & Wildlife Observation
Costa Rica's largest lake is Lake Arenal, due to the 1968 eruption the Lake tripled in its size. Today the total area is 33 sq miles (85.5 sq km). The area around the lake is composed of farm land, forest and of course the volcano itself.
The tour will lead you to several islands in the lake, while having a stunning view of the volcano and the surroundings. The tour is in a first class kayak, and you will get to paddle in a one- or two person kayak.
The tour will take around four hours, you will be three hours on the water. Before you go into the water, you will get a little bit of information about what to do and what not to do.
The tour requires at least two participants and the minimum age is 10 years old.
