ATV Adventures

Get ready to see a lot of the most beautiful places of Arenal, including rivers, waterfalls, forests and farms while driving on an ATV.

The tour starts at the office in La Fortuna, where you will get an explanation about how the ATV's work, safety measures and you will take a quick test drive on an ATV that fits your size before you start your tour.

There are a lot of different routes in the area to choose from. One of the tours visits a working diary farm, another tour visits the La Fortuna Waterfall, crossing streams and racing down hills along the way.

During all of the tours, you will enjoy stunning views of Volcano Arenal. Next to this, you will also have the possibility to spot exotic animals like frogs, toucans, sloths and monkeys. Most of the tours also include a visit to a river, in which you can swim, clean the mud off and cool off.

Epic Journey With a Friend

At Monteverde Lodge, we really appreciated that they placed water jugs in each room and offered ice and fresh fruit for the water each evening. This would be a great idea for other accommodations - we would be less inclined to buy water in plastic bottles for the room, and it would indicate that the tap water was great to drink (if that was the case).
