Tabacón Hot Springs was one of the first hot springs resorts in the Arenal area. Go here and unwind in the thermal waters.
Tabacón has five different springs, the temperatures differ from 77 F (25 C) to 122 F (50 C). The thermal river that flows through the resort is heated by the still active Arenal Volcano. The resort has a cold river as well, go here to change temperatures (very good for the body and skin).
The main area has a swim-up bar and a waterslide. Enjoy a refreshing drink while you are relaxing in the streaming water. Find some adventure after the relaxing and go down the waterslide. The lower section has secluded pools that give an amazing view of the Arenal Volcano. All pools are surrounded by gardens.
Tabacón also has spa facilities where you can enjoy a variety of treatments.
