Twilight Safari Float
The transition from day into night is a powerful shift in the rain forest. The Twilight Safari Float offers a unique perspective into the nocturnal rainforest.
Float the River at Twilight in Search of Wildlife
The twilight safari float will take about two hours excluding the short drive from Arenal hotels to the Penas Blancas river. The guides will talk and hopefully help you spot the habits and environments of forest creatures such as opossums, sloths, long-nosed bats, howler monkeys, spectacled owl, caimans and birds such as the crowned night heron. One of the most amazing things that you will experience, is hearing all the different animals sounds around you: in the trees and at the banks of the river.
After floating on the river for about two hours, the guides will take you to a local restaurant to have a typical Costa Rican dinner. The dinner consists of yucca bread, sweet fried plantains, homemade cheese, coffee and juice. When everybody filled their bellies, the 20-minute drive back to the hotel will start.
