Ecocentro Danaus
This local conservation is located on the outskirts of La Fortuna. When you are there you will see lots of incredible plants, birds and reptiles.

Ecocentro Danaus offers visitors the possibility to visit by day or by night.
During the day visitors are free to take a self guided tour through the premises. During your tour you will be able to see lots of different plants, like: orchids, bromeliads, ferns, heliconias, palms and many others. These plants attract more than 150 species of animals, like: sloths, bats, basilisks, snakes, frogs, birds, caymans, iguanas and butterflies.
The self guided tours are able form 8AM to 4PM, daily.
