Hotel Campo Verde
There is much to see and do in this part of the country. Hikes through the Arenal Volcano National Park supply visitors with excellent views of the volcano as well as the chance to spot creatures such as monkeys and sloths. Canopy tours and waterfall rappelling is popular, as are fishing and boating trips along Lake Arenall. Finally, no visit to this area would be complete without some time spent soaking in the natural hot springs.
Hotel Campo Verde (whose names translates as “Green Country Hotel”) offers one of the most affordable options in the Arenal area. It is smaller than other hotels, but is adequately stocked with amenities and guest services. The area immediately surrounding the hotel is lush and hilly, and guests will find the accommodations comfortable and pleasing.
The cabins are simple but tasteful. Tile floors keep the inside cool, while outdoor patios allow guests to relax and take in views of the volcano. All cabins come equipped with a private hot water bathroom, air conditioning, cable TV, and mini fridge. Certain rooms have large bathrooms that include a bathtub Jacuzzi – a definite perk after a long day spent exploring Arenal.
