Arenal Kioro

Visitors to the area will enjoy hiking through the verdant Arenal Volcano National Park– which has excellent volcano views and wildlife viewing – and going fishing along Lake Arenal. Tours of the hanging bridges allow participants to stare into the upper reaches of the rainforest, while canopy tours will have them flying right through it. Other popular activities include canyoneering, biking, and windsurfing.
The Arenal Kioro is one of the most exquisite hotels in the area. Set on 27 acres (11 ha) of gorgeous, hilly land, guests have the privilege of being able to explore Arenal’s outdoors while still at the hotel. Paths wind near creeks and around groves, and certain trails are labeled with the kinds of plants that line the sides. Guests of the Arenal Kioro will also enjoy relaxing by the hotel’s swimming pool – which has impressive views of the volcano – or signing up for a treatment at the spa. If diversion is in order, there is a game room (with billiards tables and TVs) for adults and a playroom for kids. The Heliconias Restaurant serves original recipes that focus on international cuisine and fish/meat products.
All of the rooms at Arenal Kioro have panoramic views of the Arenal Volcano. The rooms are comfortable, spacious, and designed with classy artwork. All are equipped with a private hot water bathroom, private Jacuzzi, air conditioning, satellite TV, mini bar, safe deposit box, and hairdryer. The rooms have the option of either two queen size beds or one king size bed, and there are connecting suites that are available for families or groups.
Guests of the Arenal Kioro are also provided with transport service and free entrance to the Tikotu Hot Springs, which are located 2.5 miles (4 km) from the hotel.
