We trek through the forest on magical trails that lead to some of the most spectacular waterfalls in Costa Rica, a place very few people get to experience. Along the way we will have the chance to discover the secrets that lie hidden deep within the canyon.

Your trip begins with a 30-minute 4x4 drive into the tropical rainforest outside the town of La Fortuna, in the shadow of the Arenal Volcano. From the first waterfall we will rappel down from the top into the beautiful and pristine canyon below. The adventure includes five rappels, four of which are along waterfalls and one dry rock face. Then just a short trek out of the canyon, jump in the vehicles and head back to the base camp.

We have two tours a day, see schedules and reservations info. Both tours include lunch at our base camp and snacks in the canyon.

We use only high quality gear used in canyoneering and rock climbing. All our guides have been professionally trained in Wilderness First Aid and CPR. Daily safety inspections are conducted on all equipment and systems.

Rappel down some of the most dramatic waterfalls in Costa Rica and into a canyon that reminds us of something out of the movie Lord of the Rings! See tropical birds, monkeys and thousands of different kinds of plants and flowers. You do not need experience and this tour is kid friendly.

Tour Times: 7:15h am, 9:30h am and 12:15h pm, duration is about 4 hours.

Includes: Transportation, lunch, snacks in the canyon, 5 rappels - we will show you how! (4 waterfalls + 1 dry wall), Expert Guides and all Safety gear.

What to bring: Fast drying clothing (surf shorts, outdoor hiking type synthetic clothes), adventure sandals, tennis shoes or light hiking boots, camera or video (we have individual dry bags), change of clothes and towel.

Important: We accept a maximum of 2 children under 100 pounds (46 kilos) per tour accompanied by an extra guide. If a member of your party is 100 pounds or less the guides will determine if this person will need to be accompanied by a guide on all the rappels in which case there is a fee of $20 that needs to be paid directly to the operator upon arrival. If the guides determine that it is not necessary to have an extra guide then there is no additional fee.

You can enjoy this adventure rain or shine (you'll get wet anyway but the water is warm :-) -bring a change of clothes.
