Arenal Hot Springs
Thanks to the Arenal Volcano’s geothermal activity, there is a number of natural hot springs throughout the area. Warm and soothing, these springs offer visitors an ideal way to relax after a day spent exploring Arenal.
Each hot spring facility is unique in its own right – some have both hot and cold pools, others have waterslides or swim up bars. Rest assured in the knowledge that wherever you decide to soak, it will be a relaxing and rejuvenating experience.
Geared towards the privacy of its guests, Eco Termales is the smallest of the Arenal hot springs. It does not accept more than 100 visitors at one time, has four pools of varying temperature (the coldest is 91°F and the hottest is 105°F), and runs a tasty traditional restaurant.
Titokú Hot Springs has eight pools that cascade down a hill and decrease in temperature as they descend. The pools are pleasant and colorfully lit at night. The facility runs a full-service bar and serves a handful of food items.
Located within The Springs Resort and Spa, the seven Los Perdidos Hot Springs range in temperature from 76°F to 98°F. They are surrounded by tropical plants and abut a wet bar and waterslide.
Complete with over 30 pools, Baldi Hot Springs is a friendly and affordable alternative to some of the area’s more upscale options. There are three swim-up bars and two waterslides, a restaurant, spa, and changing rooms.
Los Laureles Hot Springs is located across the street from the Los Lagos Hotel and Resort. It offers a large cold pool, a water slide, and two hot spring pools. Guests are allowed to bring their own food and drink to picnic on the hot springs’ property.
Los Lagos features both a hot spring fed wet bar and a hot spring fed Jacuzzi. Both are maintained at a temperature of 98°F, and there are waterslides and a volcano-shaped kids pool. The property has an up-close view of the Arenal Volcano.
Arenal Paraiso offers new hot spring pools, a restaurant and bar, laundry service, a souvenir shop, private parking, and 24-hour security.
Hotel Silencio del Campo is a cozy and friendly hotel. It has two swimming pools and a large hot spring pool with excellent views of the Arenal Volcano.
