Nature is the name of the game in Arenal. Visitors can hike through the Arenal Volcano National Park, boat on Lake Arenall, fly through the forest on a canopy tour, or raft down the beautiful Peñas Blancas River. The area is blessed with a number of geothermal hot springs, providing guests with the perfect place to relax after a day spent exploring this wonderful destination.
Hotel Silencio del Campo’s name means “Country Silence Hotel” in Spanish. True to this title, the hotel is located several miles outside the town of La Fortuna in an area that is as naturally beautiful as it is quiet. The inspiring Arenal Volcano is always in view and the hotel maintains a property that is expertly gardened with vibrant plants. Adult and children’s pools employ natural designs that make guests feel as though they were swimming in a lake or natural spring. Chairs surround these pools, offering up a prime location to read, relax or simply take in views of the volcano.
Guests are invited to dine at the hotel’s restaurant, which has large windows and ample seating. It serves tasty meals from sunup till sundown and has a bar that is stocked with beers, wine, liquors, juice and soda.
