Visitors to Arenal will enjoy hikes through the Arenal Volcano National Park. During these tours, you can search for tropical creatures while taking in stunning views of the volcano. Nearby, Lake Arenal provides a wonderful spot to windsurf, fish, and enjoy boat tours. Canopy tours are faced paced and exciting, as are river rafting trips down the Peñas Blancas River.
The Erupciones Inn is a small, family-owned hotel that is located on a functioning dairy farm. For this reason, the breakfasts here are especially fresh and tasty, as the eggs and milk come directly from the farm’s own animals. Forests and gardens surround the farm, and there are hiking trails that wind through much of it – guests are invited to lace up their shoes and explore the Inn’s property.
The individual cabins are quaint and brightly colored with blues and oranges. Each has a front terrace with great views of the Arenal Volcano. Also on the terrace are tables and chairs, providing guests with a perfect spot to read, write, dine or relax. Inside, all accommodations come equipped with a private hot water bathroom and cable TV. Some rooms have air conditioning, while others have only a fan. Deluxe rooms even have their own Jacuzzi.
