The newest Resort facing the Arenal Volcano is located 1 km (0.6 miles) inland away from the road circling the volcano making it one of the safest and quietest hotels in the area while offering spectacular views.

Arenal Springs Resort is located between the Tabacon Hot Springs and the village of La Fortuna where you can see the north face of the active volcano from your private porch. See Arenal Volcano map for location. By taxi, the village of La Fortuna is 5 minutes ($3) and the Tabacon Hot Springs is 7 minutes ($5). All mini-bus shuttles and Tours offered by Arenal.net includes pick-up and drop-off at our resort at no extra charge.

All our 26 brand new colonial style Deluxe Cabins offer an impressive and unobstructed view of the Arenal Volcano. All cabins include the amenities you would expect from a fine Resort: vaulted ceilings, large sliding bay windows, one King or two Queen orthopedic beds (with a hidden single rollaway bed) with view of the volcano from your bed, quiet split-unit air-conditioning and a ceiling fan, cable TV, telephone, safety box, mini-fridge, night tables with reading lamps, wardrobe, spacious bathroom with garden shower, hairdryer and hot water, private covered porch with traditional leather rocking chairs and coffee table, parking next to your cabin and 24h security. We also offer two cabins equipped for handicapped people.

The included breakfast is served in the restaurant area from the personable and friendly staff. Besides breakfast the restaurant offers a tasty choice of local and International cuisine for Lunch and Dinner. If you would like to take your lunch poolside there is a swim up bar that offers the menu of the restaurant as well as a variety of drinks.

The pool is complete with great views, swim bar, kids pool, access ramp for the handicapped and changing rooms.

Arenal Springs also has a stable of horses and operates a 2.5 hour horse tour to an observation point of Volcano Arenal. $45 for adults and $35 for children under 13. For more information about the tour and to make reservations please write to Arenalsprings@arenal.net
